New Jurassic World Movie Gets Warning From Thai Government About Filming

Jurassic World fans only have a year until the newest addition to the Jurassic franchise arrives in theaters. The new installment will act as a reboot of the series, featuring three teens and three adults trying to survive the island, and star Oscar winner Mahershala Ali, Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Rupert Friend, and Luna Blaise.

The movie is set to shoot in Thailand as well as studios in Malta and the United Kingdom, with the filming in Thailand scheduled to start this week and run through mid-July. Locations across the country include Bangkok, Trang, Phang Nga, Phuket and Chiang Mai. Additionally, the Huai To Waterfall, within the Khao Phanom Bencha National Park.

Borderlands Movie Reviews Call It "Miserable Failure," "Fun," And "Generic"

The next video game movie is Borderlands, and it’s out in theaters tomorrow, August 9. Reviews for the film have begun to appear online, painting a picture of the film’s critical reception.

Resident Evil Movie Director Making A "Full-On Terror Ride" House Of The Dead Film

Paul W.S. Anderson, who directed or produced a half-dozen Resident Evil movies that collectively made over $1 billion and later made the poorly received Monster Hunter movie, is taking on another video game project. Anderson is making a movie based on Sega’s The House of the Dead series.

The House of the Dead, which debuted in 1997, is familiar territory for Anderson, as the game is focused on an agent fighting against a group of zombies. Specifically, the movie is based on 2002’s The House of the Dead 3.

Anderson told Deadline he’s always been a fan of the series, dating back to the arcade days.

“I was one of the original players, but now I have teenage kids who also play. That is the real attraction for me, that you’ve got a cross-generational piece of IP,” he said.�…
